A very warm welcome to my website. My name is Lisa Hailwood and I own Paws4ward Dog Care.
I have been involved with dogs all of my life. I started to train my first dog when I was 6 years old and have had the bug ever since. Before I left school, I did part-time work at Gloucester Greyhound Stadium helping exercise, clean and feed the Greyhounds.
When I left school, I worked as a Veterinary Nurse where I gained so much experience in animal care. We have always had dogs in our family and have fond memories of all the dogs we owned when I was a child.
My first dog, Oscar was a very clever large GSD male. We both enjoyed learning competitive obedience, fly-ball and agility together.
I then bought my lovely Asha, another GSD. Together we had fun doing competitive obedience, agility and working trials. She sadly passed away recently.
I now have 2 rescue Rottweilers who are perfectly behaved big softies and have recently acquired a new Rottweiler puppy called Dolly who is a bundle of joy.
I am hoping to start my diploma in 2017 in canine nutrition, I am also trained in canine first aid. I began teaching pet dog training in Woodmancote, where I held puppy and adult dog classes with the aim of helping all my clients teach their dogs how to be well behaved, balanced good citizens. I absolutely loved it but unfortunately, the premises were demolished and rather than relocate, I decided to leave my job as a Civil Servant and start a full-time dog care business.
With this wealth of experience, I am here to help you look after your dog when the need arises. Whether it is regular walks, home visits, day care or luxury home boarding your dog will be in expert hands.
Most of my customers have been from recommendations which I feel, speaks for itself.
Please visit my Facebook page for more pictures of happy smiley dogs who I have the pleasure of looking after.
I am fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary Business Insurance.
I love Lisa, she gives me treats and lots of cuddles. We go on lots of walks and have lots of fun with my doggie friends.
